This study examined the relationship between attachment to God and the resilience of parents of children with multiple disabilities. In this correlation study, 150 parents of children with multiple disabilities in Tehran were chosen through a random sampling method. Ghobari’s Attachment to God questionnaire (2011) and Connor and Davidson's (2003) Resiliency Scale were utilized to evaluate attachment to God and resiliency, respectively. Data analysis was done using Pearson correlation statistics and multiple regression analysis through the SPSS-20 software. The results showed a correlation between secure attachment and resilience, anxious attachment and avoidant attachment, and anxious attachment and avoidant attachment at the level of 0.001. To determine the relationship between two variables, the results of multiple regression analysis were used. Among the predictor variables, the secure attachment variable was included in the regression equation, and the variables of anxious attachment and avoidant attachment could not significantly increase the predicted variance of resilience. Based on this, the role and importance of attachment to God in predicting the resilience of parenting a child with multiple disabilities were investigated.
